Welcome to Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary & Cemetery

In 1906, the Masons of Arizona developed what was then known as Greenwood Cemetery. Later, in the mid-50s, the Shumway Family established Memory Lawn. The two firms, which were separated by a fence, combined their forces in 1989, thus creating the largest cemetery in Arizona, Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary & Cemetery. Today, we are proud members of the Dignity Memorial national network, offering funeral, cemetery and cremation services.

Occupying approximately 186 acres, our cemetery features beautiful memorials; a marble mausoleum; an 11-foot-tall bronze, rotating angel; trees; a Firefighter Bell Tower and both flush-to-the-ground and upright monuments. Rich in heritage, our award-winning firm also has capabilities in Spanish and wishes to meet each of our client families’ needs and desires.
